Most Tourmaline can be found in long slender faceted stones because of the shape of the raw mineral. It is found in nature as long tubes of pure color. The main sources of Tourmaline are Brazil, Madagascar, Namibia and Nigeria. The Tourmaline coming from Namibia is probably the newest find and the colors are very vibrant and absolutely stunning. There is one Tourmaline that is prized among all others, and that is the Paraiba Tourmaline. This Tourmaline contains Copper as the element that gives it color. This is the rarest type of Tourmaline and is arguably the most vibrant.
